The 10th Annual Fall Off-Road Expo

For lovers of all things dirt, the 10th Annual Fall Off-Road Expo Presented by Toyota rolled into the Pomona Fairplex on October 9-11, 2009.
You gotta love the Pomona Fairplex, be it the Grand National Roadster Show, Off Road Expo or the L.A. Roadsters Show the Fairplex. With its huge indoor halls, it is the perfect place to show off the latest vehicles and parts. The venue proved once again just how perfect it is, as thousands of people turned out to see the latest in off-road hardware. Thanks to the hundreds of vendors plying their wares, the assembled throngs had plenty to look at. From suspension pieces to engine and performance parts to entire vehicles, the sky was the limit. In fact, the only limit was how much the spectators had to spend.
Companies such as Skyjacker, KC, Atomic Axles, Advance Adapters and others that produce off-road parts routinely make the Expo one of the must-hit events of the season. And then there are others that offer products transcending a specific genre. Lucas Oil, Currie, Baer, Bilstein, Auto Meter, Jet, K&N, Flowmaster, Lokar and many more are also to be found at the Expo, but are just as easily spotted at hot rod and muscle car events. There are many places where products easily crossover, and some like Powertank air tanks and Race 401, who offer a comprehensive first-aid kit, would be perfect for hot rodders to have while on the road.
The Off-Road Expos are held twice a year — in the spring prior to the off-road season, and in the fall, which we guess is for the guys who broke their rigs during the season and need an early Christmas present. Either way, they’re both held at the Fairplex, and are a great way to spend the day and the chance to see a product you really need but didn’t even know was offered.
